Spotlights by HRCap: Top 12 Global ESG Influencers to Follow in 2024 (HRCap Newsletter Issue #271 - Aug. 28, 2024)

ESG influencers play a critical role in driving corporate responsibility and promoting sustainable practices. In our latest series, Spotlights by HRCap, we have highlighted the Top 12 Global ESG Influencers to Follow in 2024, who have made remarkable contributions to the field. These leaders are setting new standards and encouraging businesses worldwide to prioritize ESG principles for a more sustainable future.

KOCHAM held their 2024 Employment Seminar on August 23, 2024. At the seminar event, our CMO and SVP, Stella H. Kim, delivered an engaging presentation on the numerous challenges that companies face at each stage of the Business Life Cycle. She provided strategic solutions tailored to each stage, offering valuable insights for organizations striving to thrive in a competitive environment.

HRCap's Chief Marketing Officer, Stella H. Kim, writes her eighth Korea Daily expert column of 2024 about focusing on candidate's soft skills rather than their qualifications and past experiences. She elaborates on the 7 HRCap Non-Negotiable Soft Skills and how they are the key to identifying critical talents who invest in their personal brand.

August 2024 Insight: Indeed identified the top 20 entry level jobs of 2024 based on year-over-year growth in job share and average annual salary according to median salary, career paths, and growth projection data. After analyzing market research with candidate feedback and LinkedIn data, HRCap identified and mapped the top 10 in-demand entry level positions among the current active candidate pool as: Sales Representative (29.6%), Marketing Specialist (23.7%), Business Analyst (19.7%), Insurance Agent (8.3%), Auditor (6.6%), Quality Engineer (3.8%), Field Technician (3.0%), Retail Sales Associate (2.7%), Mental Health Technician (1.3%), and Civil Engineer (1.3%).

While this data confirms the rising trend for entry positions that specialize in business and marketing, it also highlights the lack of technological roles in the current job market. HRCap encourages both candidates and organizations to stay informed about the current job market trends by understanding what positions are in-demand and the skills required for such positions. This would effectively allow candidates to start their career planning and organizations to effectively plan their talent acquisition strategies.

HRCap leverages strategic interview questions and assessment tools to evaluate if candidates have competency in the "7 HRCap Non-Negotiable Soft Skills." We encourage all clients to thoroughly screen candidates on these 7 skills to ensure cultural fit for an effective and sustainable hire.
