HRCap, Inc. officially announces the appointment and promotion of two senior executives to achieve business expansion, drive organizational capabilities, and maximize performance.

Stella H. Kim, SPHR has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Head of Americas, effective January 1, 2024.

She will now be responsible for all Executive Search, Professional Search, and Interim Solutions Businesses across the Americas. Stella will also continue her leadership role as Chief Marketing Officer, overseeing Client Experience, Digital Transformation, Global Branding, and Employee Engagement & Development.

Since joining in 2016, Stella has demonstrated exceptional leadership and versatility throughout her career within the company. She joined HRCap in 2016 on a mission to help it become the best Asian-American Total HR Solutions firm, not just the largest Korean-American search firm. HRCap had previously focused our services in the U.S. and South Korea but quickly expanded globally across North America, Europe, and APAC. Stella quickly made a significant impact, contributing to the company’s evolving premium-service identity, subject expertise, and digital presence, further leading to her multiple promotions and appointments as Director, Managing Director, and VP.

In 2019, Stella founded and built the Executive Search Practice and turned the division into one of the fastest-growing and most profitable divisions within HRCap in just 3 years. HRCap was named 2022 and 2023 Top 10 Executive Search Firm in North America, 2023 Top 10 Executive Search in Asia Pacific, and 2023 Top Executive Search in South Korea by Manage HR Magazine. With the onset of the Covid-19 Pandemic, Stella also spearheaded the Global Digital Transformation team focused on leading agile projects that help automate processes, drive synergy across global teams and top client groups, conduct data-driven industry research, and help modernize and enhance the employee experiences at HRCap. Under her leadership, HRCap was named “2021 New Jersey Best Places to Work” by NJBIZ Magazine, and "2023 Empowering Women Organization" by NJBIZ Magazine. In 2023, she also assumed the role of Chief Marketing Officer, playing a crucial leadership role in elevating the company’s brand growth and visibility.

Stella is an official Forbes HR Council Member and certified SPHR®. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Princeton University and a Master’s Degree in Social-Organizational Psychology from Columbia University. She also completed Executive Programs in Social Impact Strategy at The University of Pennsylvania and HR Management at Villanova University. She was recently named "2023 Power 40 Under 40” by COLOR Magazine and "2022 Best 50 Women in Business in New Jersey" by NJBiz Magazine.

HRCap, Inc. has also announced the appointment of Youngsoon (Grace) Lee as President of Asia Head Office, effective January 1, 2024. As the newly appointed President of Asia Head Office in South Korea, Youngsoon brings a wealth of experience and a distinguished career to the organization. With her 20-year tenure at Samsung Electronics, she has demonstrated exceptional leadership and proven HR expertise within the organization. Youngsoon will be dedicated to deepening organizational capabilities, enhancing client experiences, driving synergy between the Asia and Americas businesses, and building our brand at HRCap.

Since joining Samsung Electronics in South Korea in 2003, she has stepped into leadership roles such as Director of Human Resources and Vice President of Global Learning and Development, contributing to the workforce management and talent management strategies. She focused on leadership selection and development strategies, competency assessments, and diversity program management. In 2015, Youngsoon assumed the responsibilities of Vice President of Corporate Citizenship, building Samsung’s corporate citizenship strategies with social innovation programs and employee volunteer programs. She also assumed the leadership role of Vice President of Global Talent Acquisition in 2015, driving Global Recruiting, Executive Search, and University relations, thereby attracting top-tier talent to Samsung Electronics. Pivoting to the role of Chief Learning Officer of Samsung Electronics Leadership Center in 2017, Youngsoon developed corporate-level strategies for leadership and talent development.

Youngsoon holds a Bachelor and Master of Arts in English Literature from Seoul National University, and a Masters in Business Administration from KAIST Graduate School of Management.

Our Founder, CEO, and President, Andrew Sungsoo Kim, will now focus on positioning HRCap to become an even greater Global HR Magnet by driving Business & Board Advisory, Interim Solutions, and Executive Coaching for HRCap's VVIP clients and community.

His recent recognitions as "2024 Marquis Who’s Who in America", "2022 Gold Stevie Award for CLO of the Year", and "2022 NJBIZ ICON Honoree" are all testament to HRCap’s commitment to excellence.

“I sincerely congratulate both Stella and Youngsoon on their new appointments, and am eager to see greater synergies between our Asia and Americas Businesses,” said Andrew. "We are confident that their unmatched subject expertise, modern leadership, and unyielding passion will propel us further to have an unmatched service excellence and brand power."

As we continue to build upon our dynamic leadership team and expand our services, HRCap will continue to elevate industry standards and provide the best service to our trusted clients.
