Published by HRCap, Inc. on September 20, 2024
On September 12, 2024, NJBIZ Magazine (New Jersey’s leading business journal) held its annual Forty Under 40 Awards Program at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Somerset, NJ to recognize the honorees.
HRCap's Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Americas, Stella H. Kim, attended the 2024 Awards Program to formally receive the recognition and was accompanied by HRCap's President & Chief Executive Officer, Andrew Sungsoo Kim, and EVP & Chief Financial Officer, Anna Kim, who have both mentored and empowered Stella throughout her transformative journey with HRCap.
Over 300 people gathered to attend this year’s award ceremony to celebrate their respective honorees and rising stars from reputable companies such as Microsoft, Berkeley College, Holy Name Medical Center, New Jersey Society of CPAs, and NJM Insurance Group. AnnMarie Karczmit, the Associate Publisher and GM of NJBIZ, started off the awards ceremony, and then Jeff Kanige, NJBIZ Editor, presented the awards first to the 15 rising stars and then to the Forty Under 40 Award recipients.
The annual NJBIZ Forty under 40 awards program has recognized 40 professionals under the age of 40 for their remarkable achievements and exceptional leadership within the state of New Jersey. This year, NJBIZ also introduced a new “Rising Stars” category, recognizing 15 promising individuals under 30 who have demonstrated strong potential to become future industry leaders. An independent panel of 12 judges reviewed and selected these professionals based on their excellence in business, commitment to community, and professional achievement. This year, they noted that the selection process was highly competitive as they received over 500 quality nominations, the highest submission count to date, across all industries, fields, and functions.
As the only East Asian female to receive this honor in the past four years, Stella H. Kim’s recognition is a pivotal moment for advancing greater Asian American representation and young woman leadership within New Jersey’s business landscape. Her proven expertise and celebrated accomplishments highlight the critical role that diverse voices and perspectives play in leadership, fostering a more inclusive and innovative business environment across the world.
“I am deeply honored to be recognized by NJBIZ as a Forty Under 40 honoree, and am humbled to be celebrating with both our CEO and CFO today who have been pivotal for my personal growth and our organizational success," said Stella upon receiving the prestigious award. "This recognition is truly a testament to the hard work of all our dedicated teams at HRCap worldwide and the community of Asian American leaders and women mentors around us. I believe diversity and representation are increasingly crucial in driving scalable growth and fostering a more equitable landscape for the future of work. I am committed to promoting greater representation of Asian American Women leaders in their respective industries, functions, and communities. I sincerely hope this award inspires others to pursue their vocational callings and contribute to a diverse and dynamic future for New Jersey.”
From her early career days to her current role as our CMO, Stella has consistently shown a commitment to service excellence, a drive for positive transformation in the recruiting and HR industry, and a dedication to greater representation of Asian American women leaders. As we celebrate this remarkable achievement, we look forward to her continued contributions to our organizations, the Asian American community, the New Jersey economy, and the global recruitment landscape.
