HRCap Founder, CEO, & President Honored as 2024 NJBIZ Executive of the Year

We are proud to announce that our Founder, CEO, and President, Andrew Sungsoo Kim, has been awarded by NJBIZ Magazine as the 2024 Executive of the Year

NJBIZ, a leading business journal in New Jersey, launched The NJBIZ Business of the Year awards program in 2006 to honor New Jersey’s companies that have made significant contributions to the business community. This year, 55 companies became finalists for the prestigious award, including prominent names such as AmeriHealth, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield, RWJBarnabas Health, Atlantic City Electric, Reproductive Medicine Associates (RMA), and Huntington Learning Center.

On top of awarding companies, NJBIZ also presents the Executive of the Year Award to individuals who have shown excellent leadership and professional excellence. This year, they have awarded three executives in 3 distinct categories: For-profit, Nonprofit, and Family Business. Michael Lovett (President & CEO of Consensus Health), Michael Maron (President & CEO of Holy Name Medical Center), and Andrew Sungsoo Kim (Founder, CEO & President of HRCap, Inc) have all been reviewed and selected by a distinguished, independent panel of judges who carefully assessed their overall accomplishments, community involvement, and innovative leadership.

Since the inception of this awards program, our CEO Andrew Sungsoo Kim has been the first East Asian executive to receive this prestigious award. He has been nominated and honored for founding HRCap, partnering with client groups to strengthen the U.S. labor economy, building and empowering Asian-American communities, spearheading the global HR industry with thought leadership, and mentoring cross-generational, cross-cultural, and cross-border leaders to effectively serve as meaningful transformational bridges. Andrew is most respected in the community for co-leading HRCap by challenging while guiding his executive teams to transform and futureproof the family business, making HRCap a globally renowned HR powerhouse. He has mastered the balance between instilling his foundational values and corporate vision while adapting and empowering his executive team to futureproof and modernize the company to advance forward to be a model for the global HR industry.

In response, our CEO shares his sentiments:

I am deeply honored to receive this award and grateful for the dedicated teams across HRCap who have made this achievement possible. Together, we’ve reached new heights, and I’m excited to continue delivering value to our clients, candidates, and communities, both locally and globally.

At HRCap, we are proud of our CEO and look forward to celebrating his recognition at the Awards Ceremony that will take place on December 12 at The DoubleTree by Hilton Somerset.
