HRCap Expands CRM Service to More U.S. Clients

Since the launch of the HRCap CRM service (http://crm.hrcap.com) back in September 2016, selected clients have been able to access and take full advantage of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Our CRM system provides an at-a-glance comprehensive look at the status of all cases and automatically suggests best-fit candidates who may be of strong interest to our clients. Our clients can easily view the most up-to-date information on each case, make online inquiries on the pending cases, and request further information on our recommended candidates.

Due to the positive feedback we received from many of our clients, we have decided to expand the service to many more U.S. clients this year. We strongly believe that our CRM system will be vital to improving our services and deepening our relationships with valued clients, all the while contributing to our client’s organizational growth and business success as well. HRCap's CEO Participated in the K-Move Center's Public-Private Consultation Meeting in New York

KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency) New York held the K-Move First Quarter Public-Private Consultation Meeting at the Korean Consulate Conference Hall in New York City on Tuesday March 21. The mission of K-Move is to provide the necessary career guidance and the essential networking opportunities for young Korean professionals looking for jobs in foreign countries, in an attempt to tackle the high youth unemployment rate in Korea.

With the first kickoff meeting for 2017, Ms. Sooyeon Kim, the new team manager for KOTRA, shared 2016 business results and 2017 business plans for the K-Move Center. Additionally Attorney Chejin Park presented on how the Trump Administration has heavily impacted U.S. labor and immigration laws, and shared its greater implications on the Korean-American communities and businesses. Our CEO Mr. Andrew Sungsoo Kim and Business Development Manager Ms. Stella Kim were once again invited to work with leading industry experts to deliberate on various strategies for K-Move. We will continue to leverage our strong networks with national associations and partnerships with global clients to drive meaningful connections and deliver greater value to the Korean-American community. We look forward to staying fully committed to K-Move’s mission.

Key Hiring Trends to Watch For in 2017

According to CareerBuilder's Annual Job Forecast, 40% of employers are planning to hire full-time permanent employees over the next 12 months. This is the best the U.S. has seen in a decade.

Here's what we can expect this year:

  • Companies will be offering higher pay. Two thirds of employers will increase salaries on initial job offers, and 50% expect to increase the minimum wage.
  • Job seekers need to strengthen their soft skills. Over 60% of employers rated candidates' soft skills as very important.
  • Employers will communicate with candidates via text. 40% of employers will reach out to candidates via text messages to schedule interviews.
  • Workers are expected to be more savvy on social media. 60% of employers expect all employees to be on social media.
  • More companies are willing to hire workers with short experiences. 55% of employers will train workers with limited field experiences then hire them full time.
